Within the last couple of weeks we have started our 2007 harvest, with early varieties of potatoes, including Charlotte, Duke of York and Maris Peer, being lifted. Weather permitting we will be harvesting Organic Beetroot within the next couple of weeks..
The weather continues to be very unsettled, but fortunately we have missed the very heavy storms which have occured elsewhere. We will be beginning to harvest organic beetroot in the next 2 weeks. Other crops such as parsnips and sweetcorn are in need of sunshine as we all are! Other projects such as the building of our new reservoir for irrigaton water are progressing well. We will be giving regular updates on the building as time progresses - watch this space! |
