Agri-Tech East Remote Sensing Special Interest Group: Getting to the Root and Branch of Remote Sensing and Monitoring

From the growing medium to the leaf canopy, monitoring crop performance can give insights into the input requirements. A number of new sensors will be discussed and the speed dating format will allow researchers, technology developers, farmers and growers to exchange ideas that may lead to new collaborations and tools for sensing and monitoring. One of the key outputs of the workshop will be a set of recommendations of future innovation needs from growers and farmers in the open field and for protected crops.
